The Center for Photon Science at Uppsala University invites you to a meeting on future beamline developments at MAX IV.
As you may know, the national Swedish synchrotron radiation laboratory MAX IV was inaugurated in June this year. During 2017, a number of beamlines will gradually become available to users.
Click here for a list and description of the currently funded beamline projects at MAX IV
There will be room for more beamlines at MAX IV, and the workshop will allow you to provide input to UU´s representative in the MAX IV University Reference Group (URG), Olof “Charlie” Karis, on what other beamlines, end stations, or other types of equipment, you would like to see developed for MAX IV. We intend this to be an open and inclusive meeting, and we welcome both experienced and prospective users.
To help in the planning, please register.
To facilitate the meeting, you are welcome to describe your suggestion for developments at MAX IV in advance. Below is a number of headlines, intended as a help for structuring the suggestions. Fill in information ”as well as possible”, and please note that also incomplete suggestions are welcome! We would appreciate your suggestion no later than Dec 23rd as a reply to olle.bjorneholm@physics.uu.se.
