You are warmly welcome to participate in an initiative aiming to development of a national PhD programme for Synchrotron Science and Applications. This is a collaboration between MAX IV Laboratory and the 14 Swedish Universities and together we are working on a joint application for funding through the EU COFUND Programme under the Marie Curie Action (MSCA) framework. 

  • Opportunity to develop collaboration with MAX IV and receive technical and methodological support.
  • 40-50 PhD students divided across the 14 Swedish partner universities
  • COFUND provides part of the funding for a PhD, about 50%
  • One page proposal draft for PhD projects needed from you
